Been extremely antsy the past couple days. Like almost driven madly insane. Found that watching lifting videos on youtube helped a bit (thank you antoine vaillant), but the urges would come back once I finished watching.

Feeling much better today, since I was out the whole day. The change in environment (novel stimuli) really helped me. Was hanging with the guys and really felt like the alpha dog of the pack, so that was neat. Also, the need to engage in conversation is pretty amazing. This is coming from a guy used to prefer listening over talking. But now, it just seems that I am more willing to take control of conversations; love hearing the sound of my voice... haha.

Seriously though, to all you non-believers of no fap here is a little logic for you.
Girls are known to sync their monthly cycles with their friends who they spend a lot of time with. Currently it is unclear exactly how this happens but scientists speculate that it has something to do with pheromones released by them.

If the human body is capable of releasing hormones to communicate with those around us, and they can interpret those messages and react to them with a physical change, then it is pretty much a dead certainty that not fapping could produce a chemical that everyone around you sub-consciously picks up from you to let them know that you are in "god-mode" and fertile with a "full bag of seeds".

I'm a Biology student and from various examples of human behavior and adaptations I have already been taught, it would not surprise me in the slightest if we had an evolutionary adaptation that limits our ability to attract girls for sex when we have a low sperm count and makes it easier to attract them when we have a high sperm count. We already know that a womens appearance improves when she is at her most fertile point in her cycle, the same is very possible for men.

In on this. Been fapping since I was 12 years old and the longest streak I've done of No Fap is 3 months. Its soo difficult to beat, I mean i've given up alcohol for 1 year 1/2 with ease but this is in a different league. I haven't actually been in a serious relationship ever, and at 23 that's pretty sad. I'm certain its to do with this, every time I quit I tend to find i'm socially much better and confident. My plan is to quit for 6 months so I can reboot my brain and then keep going forever.

A helpful tool I would recommend is this. Download K9 Web Protection for free and install it. Make the settings to filter pornography only, then make an email address that you will never use. In the program change the email address (you may have a confirmation email to do this) to one you just made and then make a password that you will never guess or know. (To do this make a text document and type randomly about 10-20 characters and copy paste as the password for the program and then delete the text document).

Finally after that do the same technique for the email address you just made and change that password to something you will never guess or know. You now have a porn filter that cannot be removed unless you format your computer.

Sorry, but this plain doesn't work. Women don't just come, if you don't have the confidence to even make a move you'll end up alone.

"Improving" oneself is something that is generally given out as advice, but it boils down to mustering up the courage to hit on some women because, as I said above, if you don't make the move you're bound to be alone. I lack the confidence to do that right now, which is why I started doing NoFap. NoFap doesn't help with confidence problems. The other porn/fap related problems and benefits are void if you don't get laid in the first place.

So why should I continue with it? I can't see any reason. Currently i'm trying to convince myself that the confidence boost will set in if I hold out just a few more days, but after hoping for that and getting disappointed over and over again it's not that convincing anymore.
