Well it comes from Milk and Milk comes from cows. So it depends, do you drink milk? Also they make protien that comes from rice and peas and stuff like that but it is not nearly as good a quality as whey protien.

True Soy would be a good option for you but the estrogen stuff is a bit of a consern.
