Lmao, just saw the 150 dollar monitor in there.
And to be honest, you are a derp for spending so much on the keyboard and the mouse. Brb, could have used that money for the best GPU on the market and still fit your "budget". A keyboard and mouse won't make you better at a game. U mad I use a basic Logitech mouse and still do well?

Yeah I do agree, I could buy a much better pc, but I really value a great mouse and keyboard, I tried tons and tons out and these two were just perfect for my needs. IMO a good mouse and keyboard is more important than the best GPU on the market, especially when this build runs everything on ultra, just MY OPINION

I'm also from perth and looking to upgrade my pc soon (For skyrim!). The cheapest shops over here are PLE, Austin, MSY and pccasegear. The prices OP has listed a few posts up are only a tiny bit extra. I would go through staticice to prove it, but its late and I have uni early tommorrow morn, so really cant be bothered.

3000 on a pc that could have been built for half the price... lol Either way it's your money.

No, it's not. H60 looks like this and is actually worse than top of the line air coolers (NH-D14, Thermalright Silver Arrow).
I've been building computers for over 10 years, not talking out of my ass here.
You don't need 16gb of ram for gaming. And you won't for at least the next 2 years. Complete waste of $50, don't bother. Srs.
Your SSD choice is poor, corsair/crucial/intel are superior drives.
You should have spent more money on a 120hz monitor so you're not limited to 60fps without screen tearing. inb4 human eye can't distinguish between 60 and 120 fps. It can.
You paid $150 too much for your motherboard. There is nothing on it you need that a $150 board can't offer, I promise.
Keyboard and mouse are a bit overkill, but that's personal preference and forgivable.
IMO you could have saved yourself around $500 and built a system with better parts with slightly better performance if you had done a little more research or hired someone more competent. Grand scheme of things, you won't be able to tell the difference and will enjoy your new rig just as much anyway.
Edit: Just saw that you paid for an antivirus. Sigh. Microsoft Security Essentials; free, just as effective."The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that English is about as pure as a cribhouse whore. We don't just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary." - James Nicoll

150 on a keyboard? I paid 80 for my g15 and I rarely use the G keys.. now my G700 was a good investment. Why are you buying windows? What kind of nerd brags about his gaming PC then buys windows? Every gamer knows how to get windows. Pseudogamer FTL. Clearly you should just go get an i7 black.. good luck.

Noted down the following things to discuss with him:
H60 not that good
Poor SSD
Don't need $300 motherboard
Upgrade to 120 HZ monitor.
The guy has been building for ages and he does know his stuff, he and you both said 8 gigs ram is fine, so will stick with that I guess... Thanks a lot for help, repped
