    Fuuu....

Ive been looking for "Talenti Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup" quite some time now, and I finally found it.

There is a PB swirl in it that is really bitter... ):

Maybe I just have a bad pint; but PB swirl is my favorite mixin and this is almost inedible. Anybody else have this problem???

    Anticipated 9/10...more of a 4.5/10 ):

Hmm interesting. That might be the next pint of Taleniti I pick up. B&Js is pretty awesome. Haggen Dazs was also ridiculously good. Prefer it over B&J's for it's lighter creamier texture.

I was going to buy Haagen Daz Spiced Caramel Biscuit today but it was covered in about a quarter inch of frost. I had to wipe a lot of it off just to see what flavor it was. I decided not to buy it. Should I have anyways? Does a lot of frost mean bad ice cream?

    it depends

there are 2 reason why its frosted:
1)its simply cooled down too much (below -25 degrees, the perfect cool down temperature is -18 degrees)
    2) the cool down chain has been broken, which means that it has been taken out of the refrigerator or before it even was in the store. As you know you shouldnt freeze things which were cooled and brought back to higher temperatures. The quality can suffer and the package builds frost.
In the case thats its been taken out OFTEN of the refrigerator, has been put into room temperature, and hasnt been put back to the freezer in maximum 1-2 mins the quality could have suffered.

its nothing deadly 95% of the time, however especially in dairy and meat products you should be cautious.

Yep came in to say this. I picked up two pints today at 2.27 each! Cheapest I have ever seen. Also on my receipt from Shoprite (where they are on sale), on the back was a $2 off coupon if you buy 3 pints of Ben and Jerrys. So I think potentially tomorrow I could go and get three pints for about $4.50...woahhhh

Downed a pint of What a Cluster....

Honestly, It wasn't that bad. The first taste did make me gag, but after that, the peanut/peanut buttery tastes weren't too bad.

I don't see myself becoming a convert to peanuts anytime soon, but I'll definitely grab a pint of this on those days when I need a lot of calories to meet my requirements.

    On a side note...lamb sausages <3

I just did the math in my head for my Stop & Shop

    3/$9

    $2 off for 3 makes it $7

7/3 = $2.33 a pint if the coupon overlaps with the sale

Only problem is someone in my house threw out the coupon and laughed at me wanting to get 3 pints for $7, I don't even...I gave my mom a taste of the Talenti SSC by giving her a huge chocolate-covered caramel diamond and 0 fuks were given.

^We ate the same ice cream in the same day! XD

I'll agree that yes, the mix of swirl and mix-ins to ice cream is amazing, even better than Americone Dream, actually.

Maybe once I've gotten used to the taste of Peanut-stuff, I can give this ice cream a true 10/10.

Though, I didn't really taste the marshmellow...could just be because my tongue was overloaded with peanut-ness.

I need to try the americone dream, will buy a pint and report back on here and how it compares. I didn't taste the marshmellow but was not remotely overloaded with peanuts.

    Question

Having a serving of Coffee Heath Bar Crunch tomorrow as part of my breakfast. Looked through the thread briefly and couldnt find any postings on about this flavor. Has anyone tried it before?

Amazing flavor. I rescooped it a while ago and was blown away. I wish there was more caramel, but the fudge fish and ridiculous amount of marshmallow make up for it.

No B&J's tonight again. I was in the mood for something Cinnamon-y, so I was going to grab CB and call it a day. However, I got sidetracked on my way to the freezer aisle when I spotted a novelty that I've had my eye on for weeks. I finally caved:

Coffee Heath Bar Crunch is one of my favorites. B&J's definitely get the coffee base spot on and I love toffee so the Heath bars are an excellent mix-in. Let us know what you think of it.

I didn't like it. Coffee tasted kind of bitter and there weren't enough mix-ins. I think I was let down because I was expecting Haagen Daz coffee ice cream...

Welp, killed a pint of Phish food last night. It is now my #1, beating out the likes of cinnamon bun, chocolate therapy, and clusterfluff, among others. I'm a chocolate and mix in whore, and to say that it met the standard of both is an understatement. The chocolate is BEYOND rich, while not in flux or being in competition with the copious amounts of marshmallow swirls. The fudge fish aren't hard, rather chewy. Will be my go-to pint from now on.

Also rescooped banana PB GY. Not the best, but addictive in some way. I kept on closing the pint, saying "this isn't all that good," but then opening it again for another few bites, lol.
