Meh. Texture was by far the creamiest ice cream I've ever had, but the flavour left something to be desired and the "mix-ins" were pathetic in comparison to what I've seen on here from Talenti and other Salted Caramel makers. I'd say don't bother with it.

PC brand? I'd like to give this new line of theirs a shot. Really growing tired from the lack of flavours of icecream available in Canada. Only ice-cream really decent is Marble Slab, which really comes down to their base. Mix ins are nothing special. Usually like going 1/2 X and 1/2 cheescake as it's always a good hit.

I've never been to Cold Stones, but I hear Birthday Cake Remix is proper amazing, and I wanna try it. Has anyone here had it? If so, what size did you get? I think the "Love it" size is like 980 calories, 1,120 with a chocolate dipped waffle cone. I'll go Sunday.

Then I'll try to find Oatmeal Cookie Chunk in the mean time. Might have to special order it today, and it "should" arrive in a few weeks.

Pumpkin is their best flavor for ice cream (you can ask to sample)
Chocolate Malt, Cake Batter, Cheesecake are also SOLID bases

i would just get a creation based off what you like. I find coldstone superior in some cases to ben n Jerry's depending on your mix-ins and what you like due to the base alone.

And he wanted to try Strawberry Cheesecake. But in the end, we wanted to try both. So we used a knife and ducttape.

To this day I think they should have used either a vanilla buttercream swirl, brownie mix-ins (a la Coldstone's Birthday Cake Remix), or white cake pieces in Cake Batter. It's so sad that such a promising flavor is so mundane. I still remember how dissapointed I was with my first pint and my rescoop 2 years later.

Now that I think of it actually, I don't think I've ever had a "batter" flavor that blew me away.

Honestly, I might have gone for both changes. Vanilla pairs better with yellow cake in my mind, and the cake pieces would have added some nice flavor/texture complexity. You should submit that as a flavor suggestion. You never know...

I picked up a pint of Americone Dream (previously scooped) on clearance for about 1.50, obviously because it's past the expiration date. I'm interested to see how it's held up. It's not like I'm going to be out a bunch of money if it's a freezer burnt nightmare, and if it's still good, well...I'm willing to bite that bullet. You know, for science.

usually i think its blasphemy to toss ice cream but after 2-3 sittings with this i just realized i wasnt gonna eat the entire thing....i ended up tossing it...easily one of the worst B&J's out there...

I picked up Dulce Delish about 5 months ago (discontinued for a while now) and it was over a year expired.. Still managed to be in great shape! And I had to drive it an home from a store an hour away.. So I think your chances are pretty good here!

First time having this flavor and I really didn't think I'd like it because of the coffee swirl, but man was I wrong. I can easily say this is one of my new favorites. The flavors with a chocolate base or brownie mix in seems to get me.
