I've never tried that flavor but the reason why is because Haagen Dazs is a great quality ice cream but when I have ice cream I like it with good mix ins and Haagen Dazs makes better base, but B&Js have Better mix-ins.

Couple of ice creams/froyo's I have tried recently: B&J's PB Banana Greek Froyo-Awesome banana base plus lots of pb swirl and a giant glob of pb in the bottom of my pint-8.5/10 would buy again.

Haagen Dazs Spiced Caramel Biscuit-Wow! This ice cream was great, and they managed to keep the speculoos cookie pieces crunchy. If you like cinnamon/speculoos you should love this flavor-9/10 would buy again.

Best froyo I've tried to date is blue bunny's white chocolate raspberry. Highly endorse it.

Will join crew once my bulk is fully underway this fall and I get to school. Love that my meal plan covers the 24/7 mart we have on campus AND they sell BnJ there. Will have a pint of every flavor before fall semester is over or negs (except Cherry Garcia, sorry brahs).

edit: to clarify, it costs money on my meal plan, they just let me use my points instead of pay cash. 3am pint runs will be made

lmao, I misunderstood. Thought it was part of like the meal swipes...my school had that too but it was grossly over priced and I actually pissed thru my dining dollars. bulking on campus was tough...

my endeavors tonight, 3 servings BB Birthday cake. been a while since I've had it. Im upgrading it from a 6.5 to like an 8. in moderation it is quite delicious. not a daily flavor though for sure.

it'll be grossly overpriced for me too, but I'm bringing a ton of food from home (oats, cereal, PB, chicken breast, frozen veggies, etc etc) so it should let me pour more $$ into BnJ. Plus I'm cutting out the 2am trips to getting buffalo wings anyways since a pint of BnJ is vastly superior if their flavor selection is as decent as it was last year

Finished off triple caramel chunk, definitely #2 to SSC, #3 being milk and cookies still.

Also re-scooped a little under 2 servings of the trader joes PB tracks, ice cream texture out of freezer is too hard and chewy. As it melts it gets to be a better smoothness but it loses some points for the base. It's a quart so still have plenty left to evaluate. Cinnamon Buns is un-opened and will remain that way till the last possible moment, have heard stories of it ruining other ice cream experiences lol

Dat der organic stuff. I'm glad I didn't buy the last time I was there. Was seriously considering it, but it was a 40 minute drive back home from Nashville. Thought it was better not to.

Enjoyed the Blue Bunny Red Velvet Cake last night. For ~600cal a pint the stuff is great. Great cake mixings, good frosting swirl, Solid 8/10.

Tonight will be going back to the old standby of SSC. Target has them on sale again for $3.25. Score!

Low fat content means it probably wouldn't survive the trip. It melts insanely fast. It's only slightly thicker than whipped cream, really. You could always bring a cooler filled with ice, but I personally don't think BB is worth the hassle. I've always been a bit surprised about how much love it gets in the thread. I think Chadillac has been spot on with his reviews of the brand.

And for those interested, the Keebler Cinnamon Roll cookies were some of the best store-bought cookies I've ever had. They taste EXACTLY like the dough in Cinnamon buns. It's like eating the center of a cinnamon roll, no lie. Heating them up only further enhances their awesome-ness.

    Red face

Can anyone recommend a lower fat but decent flavor of BnJ? Im trying to fit more than a serving into my Macros but the fat content is killing my plans. I'm going grocery shopping tomorrow and I am currently in Japan so my selection is somewhat limited. Thanks for the help!

The Froyo varieties normally are lower in fat and around 180-200 cals a serving.. You can try those out.. I have had Half Baked and Chocolate Fudge Brownie Froyo and they both were good..

Might try it myself if I can find it around here. I'm pretty sure I've seen it in only one store.

Trying to avoid any re-buys till I have at least 20 different flavors of BnJ, not sure it will be possible once I taste Cinnamon Buns though. Is it that good?

TH is a 9, but would not feature in my top five because I wouldn't list two of the same flavors in it, just like I no longer list Talenti sea salt caramel in my top five because Steve's salty caramel has ousted it.

BB party cake is a top five, yes.

I've never killed a pint as fast as Cinnamon Buns. It's amazing.

I'm still holding out to try all the different flavors that I want to try before buying again, though. I'm at 17 flavors so far excluding non B&J flavors and still have 6-7 more to try.

Yeah, re-read my post. I only list the best of a particular flavor in my top five. I like Talenti SSC more than, say, BB party cake, but BB party cake is in my top five and Talenti SSC is not because Steve's salty caramel is better than Talenti's SSC. Yah get meh?

Talenti SSC was numero uno before I tried Steve's last week. Then the game changed.
