Hey ND, I noticed your HS Incline Press has the grip that a little more neutral. How much different and easier on the shoulder is it compared to the grip you usually find on those? The guy I got my Atlantis Chest Press from has one he'll sell me, but its broken down and I cant try it. Also, do you know why some have that grip? You gym is killer BTW, the pair of Atlantis Dual Pulley Row and Lat Pull are awesome!

Thanks. The vintage stuff in the gym will increase a lot soon. I have a lot of things in my garage that still need moved into the gym. There is a Cybex weight tree in the video that is pretty empty at the moment and will hold nothing but Vintage Yorks. I have to thank Dimond for helping me find a few of these pieces. I talked to him the other day and I think he will be updating his thread pretty soon too.
I try not to think about it. I probably have close to 40 bars total. I guess when you run out of room for equipment that is one of the last things you can still collect.
I love the grips on the incline. I have heard it called a football grip and the one I have came from the Cleveland Browns. I have had the regular grip incline and feel this one blows it away. I have become a big fan of that neutral grip on the Hammer Incline, Nebula Flat Chest, and Atlantis Shoulder. Why hammer strength did not extend the arms a little which would have allowed for both the traditional grip and the football grip is beyond me. They could have easily provided both grips with very little change. Although the current set up also allows for reverse pressing, but I have not used it much for that.

I like the sculpture on the top shelf. Where did you find it?

Thank you. I only have a few minor tweaks left. I think all of the pieces I have now will be staying put for a while.
This is actually very true. Especially since I am a few weights guy at heart. Some of the pieces do not get used that often, but they are nice to have for variety.
I bought a ton of stuff from a small local gym that was going out of business and as I was leaving they gave me the sculpture and their old OPEN sign.

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

I have never tried the StarTrac, but I did like the legend better than my kneeling hammer strength. The legend has an additional pivot point near the pad which may not seem like much but it prevents the pad from rolling up the leg when doing the movement. It also helps alleviate the problem many machines have where the weight gets too light at the top.
