I have not been as good on my diet as I should have been so far. However, my main motivation is to be better at hockey and I am definitely progressing in that regard. I have spent a good majority of this comp above my initial weigh in, however this morning I reached 200.1

No idea what I am getting in my student teaching. All I care is that my Co-op loves me and is trying to get me to be her sub. She's writing two letters, one for future work and one for future studies. If my advisers give me a grade I don't like, I don't care.
Supps:
Fish oil, green tea extract, potassium, multi
in the mail today:
Fiber, cinnamon, and ephedrine via bronkaid
I used to take a joint supp when I was training Muay Thai. I will take it again when I start bulking and training again.ควายเผือก >_<

5. What are things to watch out for NOT mentioned thus far?
Especially if you are low carbing, watch that your potassium intake is at least 2000 mg per day. Low potassium combined with EC can put you at risk for heart palpitations. In reality, you should be getting a 2:1 potassium:sodium ratio. So around 3000-4000 mg of potassium and 1500-2000 mg sodium. Potassium is in a TON of foods. Do not try to supplement it with pills or powders. This can be dangerous too.
If you want to know how much potassium is in your diet, input your diet into NutritionData
Avocado's are rich in potassium and a good choice if you are low carbing."Death is nothing, but to live defeated and inglorious is to die daily." -Napoleon Bonaparte-

Macros in for the day: Feeling really good about today's intake - 2,108 214 60 191(cals carbs, fats, pro) - had broccoli, baked potato and rice today as my carb sources. Need to drink more water, but that should help knock out some of the water weight I am carrying.

I'm beginning to think we have the same kids. LOL
Genius!!!
Now why didn't I think of that??? I often wonder what my weight will ultimately be (well, once i get off my ass and actually start doing more than gain weight) at 20%. I didn't think to type parameters. D'uh!
Pretty awesome!
Impressive, my friend!
LMAO!
I had another moment to shake me up. I gave away all my bigger sized clothes as I dropped the weight, well, my smaller sized clothes are getting tight. Time to do something about it. And that doesn't mean buying bigger clothes. I'm concentrating on my diet right now and really making food fuel vs comfort. I don't know why I get in my rut. Learning curve, methinks. Some habits are harder to ultimately break. Gotta keep pressing onward. Proof will be in the results. Either I'm all hot air, or I can actually do something about this.Kristin "Never mind your failures today...get back on that horse and RIDE!"

So, after not even bothering to count cals on friday, (breakfast sandwich, cake, pizza, steak & potatoes, bowl of cereal, chocolate)
The same Sat (pancakes, cereal, Pb&j, more chocolate, Rum & coke to help me get through the Smurfs movie with my kids. LOL! pop-corn)
I weigh in at 162.6lbs. HUH?
Perhaps because I spent the day moving furniture around & cleaning & also caulking up places I felt cold air infiltrating (fricken 24 degs. yesterday) burned more cals than I thought?
Back on the deficit & cleaning my basement + gluing up insulation board to warm it up a little today!

Morning!! Lost .8 today from yesterday, but still way up from my lowest weight. Going to gym today going to walk a few miles on the treadmill + I might do some ab work? Not sure yet. Going to eat good again today. Going to chalk up the past two weeks for a two week mini-bulk.

Readjusting a bunch of things diet wise this coming week.
Going on an EC stack
Knocking up my cal intake to around 1600-1700
Stopping this low carb stuff, I have noticed it does not work for me. And what I mean by that is that I am FAR more likely to binge on carbs if I restrict my diet compared to having a sensible amount per day.
I have been really inconsistent with a proper diet / work out plan since September and I gotta get back at it.
I am 154.0 as of today and don't think I will have trouble seeing 153.4 or less on Tuesday meaning a small move or keeping steady over these two weeks.
One of the main reasons for ditching the low carb diet is also because I am going to need a lot of potassium and I hate HATE HATE bananas, we have an evil history involving a trashcan on my lap while on the toilet...
So it's going to be potatoes and raisins to make up the potassium of my diet.
I am getting back to myfitnesspal - blackartemis Friend me and yell at me!
So
~180g protein
~70g fat
~90g carbs
is my new target.
Going to be upping all my sets for 3 to 4 as well.
I will get this @#$% on track.ควายเผือก >_<

Hello, children. I’m off hiatus. I flew to a magical land where not a single turkey was given and dodged Thanksgiving gut this year. I was on a working vacay and visited with my ailing grandfather.
I weighed 132 lbs before the return flight on Friday, but after several flight delays and about 19 hrs in flight I weighed 139 lbs when I finally reached home Saturday. I caught up with all things internet including this thread, kept my legs elevated on a one-foot-tall mound of pillows and drank copious amounts of water all night since I couldn't sleep at all and this morning I weighed in at 135 lbs. I hope to flush the rest of this water by Thursday.
This isn't my video, but here's the laughing yoga group that I observed on Wednesday. I found a bench for elevated lunge/kick/squat combos next to them since they offered the bigger distraction by comparison and I was trying to be inconspicuous, lol. My uncle and aunt know several regulars at the park and they've taken up walking there every morning. I can see their apartment in the background of this vid.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ob_o2...tailpage#t=43s
I worked out for a grand total of 1.5 hrs over the last three weeks - isometric exercises, planks, squats, lunges, kicks and stairs. Everyone on one side of the family is now overweight so it felt good to guide them by example - by just getting up and doing something, anything to stay fit. In backward/rural areas like the isolated village where my parents were born things get dicey for progressive females so I stuck to working out indoors. Cousins were impressed when I flexed my biceps, but I scandalized my aunt a wee bit when she heard I’d showed her son my calves so I refrained from showing them off to anyone else.
EDIT: Slept with my legs elevated again and my waking weight was 133 lbs this morning, Monday, 12/12. Almost normal again!
EDIT EDIT: Aw nutz. *pouts* I did 4.5 miles at 4.2 mph this morning then stepped on the scale like a boss, fully expecting to see 131 lbs...
132.5 lbs post cardio.
grr
