They're pretty worthless when you lean out.

Mine reads anywhere from about 9% to 12% depending on hydration status.

down to 151.9, though i know a lot of that is water. But hell, I was 158 on sunday night.
Been doing a 6 day lifting schedule. 3 days of heavy and 3 days of light + 20 mins cardio.
Going to bump up the cardio to 30-40 mins and see what happens.
I think I can get to 149 by Feb and that will keep me motivated to drop another 5-8lbs by April 1...

You're talking like a fat man.

I've finally got my head in the game. Dropped 4 pounds this week--137. Who said "a loss is a loss"? Cuz I'm taking it! And I'm keeping my head in the game.

Was just looking at a picture I took today and I compared it to the pic I posted 5 weeks ago. Weight is up .2 over 5 weeks ago. It looks like I am a "bit" leaner now and my arms look a bit larger, but could just be glycogen/posing/lighting whatever.

Either way.. 5 weeks recomp progress photo. Can you tell any difference at all or it just lighting/posing?

even though you are leaning over forward in the right pic, it does look like you have less fat on your mid-section & love handles possibly more ab definition.

Your skin could be tightening up also.

    edit:
I think it's time to either eat more or eat less because you may be just spinning your wheels now.

I agree. I can come up with all kind of excuses, but I won't. Going to be strict with no refeeds/binges for a couple of weeks. My goal is to end the comp strong. I do honestly believe my stomach is tighter. But progress is slow in this regards. I also feel like I am spinning my wheels too. Recomping takes too long when you're not already happy with your body. I have about 3 weeks to make some solid progress.

Either way.. 5 weeks recomp progress photo. Can you tell any difference at all or it just lighting/posing?
To be honest between the lighting and hunch it's hard to tell any significant difference(I'd trade physiques with you fwiw)

I'd say it's prime time for a long clean bulk

Yep, you are correct. After cutting for 17 straight months, it is more than time to go on a bulk. My plan was to start at the end of this comp regardless of where I was happy or not. I may have to do a few bulk cut cycles for me to get to a point where I am happy, but I guess that is the price to pay for allowing myself to get 330 lbs. I appreciate the frank advice.

at your height you can probably put on another 5-10 lbs of muscle and look primetime

you still have alot of room for development on your chest, core etc. if you do it clean the skin will tighten up even further

upon a second look it does appear your skin has tightened up more, but i feel like for you its really not bodyfat at this point but just filling out your frame completely, you arent far off at all so you legitimately could be done by April/May

me on the otherhand, im gonna continue cutting to probably 170-175 then bulk throughout summer then cut again in September/October

as it stands my LBM is probably somewhere between 145-150 and id like it to be a clean 160 by the end of the year

it needs to be said though that coming down to where you are from 330 is remarkable, keep it up brah

I have about 3 weeks to make some solid progress.
To me, you look beefier. Your shoulder, even if it *might* be a positional thing (which I don't), looks fuller. Your abs, IMO, look fuller. I think you need to start looking at you through my eyes cuz you're looking mighty fine. I'm just glad you're over 30 or I might start feeling a little slimy while licking my lips here.

Weighed in at 235 this morning... but I ate (and drank) at or slightly above maintenance today because I was out with mates at the beach all day. I told myself that I had earned it
Will be back to my 2000 calories a day nightmare tomorrow tho.

Pretty much the same as what the others have said. Your next stop is a nice clean bulk. maybe even as little as 300 calories above maintenance at the start and a bit of time at maintenance before the bulk if you haven't started to yet. Just look at how far you've come though. 330lbs to 174lbs. thats not far off half the weight you used to weigh. HALF!!!! You've got to be proud of that acheivement.

176.6 this morning. I was 176 on the nose after yesterdays workout. Hopefully I can keep going down. Maybe 1600 calories was what I needed after all. Just took a few weeks to take effect. Either that or my routine switch up.

Thanks guys and gal Weight was up .2 today. I ate well last night, but my dinner had a bit too much sodium in it. Today is back/bis today and I am going to murder some deadlifts.

How far in to Gethins program are you? I'm on day 3 (First break day), but so far I've really enjoyed it. It's a nice change from what I was doing before (Started with SS, then moved in to a split following the advice/program of my buddy I trained with) I'm kind of afraid for Sunday (Second leg work out, it looks monster...). Another friend of mine (Who is in incredible shape, 210lbs 12% bf) is on week 2 this week, and says that last Sunday (end of week one) just destroyed him. I'm both excited and kind of scared for it. How did you find it?

Also - Fitocracy, I know I've asked before, but I'll ask again - Anybody else on it? So far I've just got Nitrogen! Anybody want an invite?

Just got back from the gym. It went well. Hit PR on a working set of seated rows 180*6. Still kinda scared to push myself in deads. I realized I'm not built well for deads. I have long legs and arms with relatively short torso. Last set was 245. Didn't want to push any higher than that until I get more comfortable. Last week I stopped @ 225. Maybe next week I can get 265 on last set. I'd like to work myself up to 300 within the next month or two.
