What would you eat if you ran 50+ miles this week?
Ramping up my training for a half marathon next week and I realized that this week I'll log around 50 miles in addition to my normal lifting 6 days this week. I know most of you brahs don't do long distance running but let's say you suddenly had a week where you ran 50 miles in addition to your normal lifting, what would you eat?
I run/swim/bike as part of my normal routines so this much cardio isn't too out of the ordinary. I'm thinking more from the standpoint of those who don't do a lot of cardio, what goodies would you smash if adding 50 miles of running to your routine this week??
inb4 pb, chicken, brown rice, sweet potatoes...

Noooooooooooooo. The best runs happen after mega dosing on humongous burritos. Immaturity aside, I have to disagree. Eating sugary carbs just make me really thirsty and after the taste is gone, I want more. So bad.

I've only ran 3 miles at most. I don't enjoy running, so I limit myself to 3 miles.

Synthetic? Where you at?
I would never run 50+ miles in a week, however, I would bike 100+ miles in a week and I wouldn't really eat anything different. I might drink copious amounts of Gatorade though.

OP, this hypothetical situation of yours excites me in a way that, under normal circumstances, only the combination of women, nudity, and whipped topping can. This is not an easy feat and on it I congratulate you.
With that said: absolutely anything. Pizza, ice cream, cheesecake, cheese fries, deep fried candy bars, and all sorts of similarly unrelated but equally complementary things.

OP, this question is probably best answered by people who actually run 50+ miles per week.

I'm an endurance athlete OP, and my mileage was 70-80 miles a week right before i got injured. right before my run, i would eat alot of sugary carbs which really boosted my workout intensity to new levels. carbups the day before never worked for me (weird i know), so i eat the majority of them the day of the run.

Am I the only one that would eat pounds of meat after a *hypothetical* 50 mile running week? Don't get me wrong, I'd also eat a ton of ice cream and pizza, but I love my meat .

I run 50+ miles a week already. I'm on the BOCAD diet (box of cereal a day). Favorites are Banana Nut Cheerios, Special K Red Berries and Crunchy Nut Flakes. I also eat granola bars and stuff pre-workout for a bit of a sugar buzz. Other than that, pretty standard BB diet. On my current bulk I'm at 3200 cals, 80+ g of fat, 200+ g of protein and I typically fill in the rest with mostly carbs.
My guilty pleasure: excessive cardio.
Progress towards the 1000 lb club: 945/1000
Bulking until I hit 1000. I don't care if it takes a 40 pound weight gain. No more pussyfooting around.

You run over 50 miles a week and you only eat 3200 cals? I feel like you would be cutting on that.
