For all of the misc who takes ******** Ritalin or Concreta for studying, ADD, or good mood purposes. Post tips/discuss, chill out in here.

Oh and you could post experiences

I read somehwere on the misc taking tums 45 mins prior to ******** makes your stomach more alkaline and increases absorption? true?

Mods please don't lock this because alot of users use it, and we are trying to give them proper advice because they will take it regardless, and we dont' want them being harmed by overdoses, using it improperly etc.

no clue OP might try after i look into it a little more.
You like concerta? that sh*t always messes my stomach up and i end up puking or dropping some of the most ungodly deuces. I'm more of a ritalin patch guy

true, but for me at least, the euphoria and stimulating effects are too much to actually get decent studies done.

2 tums/rolaids a 10min prior... i don't recommend, but whatever free info.

Psychiatrist will evaluate you in 1-2 sessions and then determine which medication you should take.

i disagree. a good 35mg vyvanse in a cup of water is omg so good

Tried addy once... mind was blown at the focus. At first I didn't think it was working because it was 20mg XR, but then BAM the focus came and knowledge was gained

Brb erectile dysfunction, messes with hormone levels, extreme armpit sweating, depression, dependency, cold hands/feet, apetite demolished, sleep cycle completely phucked over. Health detriments are so not worth the euphoria / work benefits, and trust me the work benefits are massive. I take meds once a week on sundays and get 10+ hours of studying done

nah i mean when basifying your stomach well before ingestion. tried a few times to save milligrams, but really it's just a manicy/euphoric energy, not a focused one.

bipolar tho. lots of drugs work unusual in my body.

Focus as in, you were able to sit there and study for couple hours? Or focus as in , you're able to understand better?

Before taking make sure you have your task ready to go.

Otherwise you'll be browsing the misc for 25-30 mins then lead into 4+ hours. srs

I have a ton of addy right now for the semester but I actually dont/cant really take it. Theyre all 30mg xr...and those last forever in me. I need a full day without my roommate home so I can just work, no distractions or people in my way and that never happens. I wish I had 20mgs ir. :\

That's how most doctors recommends how stimulants should be taken.

Both. I literally read 4 chapters in an accounting textbook, and worked the all the problems in one sitting. I didn't have to go back and re-read sections like I normally do. Studied for 12 hours because it was actually fun, I didn't want to leave the library but it closed.

got PSATs saturday and was planning on using an Addy, so dont do the Tums technique?

What the other dude who answered said. But i get mines from a friend who has ADD, he gives it to me for free, or you could easily find it to buy from someone in your college from what i hear

Never tried concerta, just heard of it. Heard its a lower grade, not necessarily, but the effects are less satisfactory and the down is harder? and less time?

They have ritalin patches?!

when taking amphetamines orally such as ********...........take tums 45 minute prior and avoid acidic food/drinks....also take on empty stomach......don't sniff the IR tabs there is a lot of filler for the actual amount of amphetamine, the XR beads crushed up have less powder.......regardless i suggest taking them orally for the best experience

I'm assuming that your doctors believes that you'll abuse the IR, and that's the reason why he prescribes you XR? Even though IR is like 10x cheaper.

does anybody else not crash on ******** until at least 12-14hrs? it's a norm. take 20mg at 10 or 11am, busy all day, no sleep til 2 or 3am.

Not necessarily.... Find a cool doctor... My buddy told this doctor his exgf used to give him one every now and then and it really helped his mood and and helped him feel more productive. Doc gave him a script for 30 30mg time release addys. Then he went back and got that script and another for just regular 30's. He was getting 60 a month.

one friend that i know can take 5mg at like 1 in the afternoon and not get any sleep even with nyquil at like 1. so it's apparently pretty common

I actually went to PLC-Combined (10 weeks, pretty much OCC), but they got rid of that for this next summer. I fked up my shoulder and got sent home week 7 so they might let me return for seniors, waiting for my OSO to find out.

My buddy at work has been on 3 ******** 30's ed for the past 6 or 7 months. Dr prescribed. Its sickening watching him slip into addiction. He's lost 40 lbs and isnt even the same person anymore. Sometimes hell take one or 2 and save them up and go on a 4 day bender. Sad **** man. I dont how how the dr can think its ok. Face is all sunk in , bugged out eyes etc.
