 How do i optimize my laptop?
Is there any way to get it to run more smoothly and quickly? How do i reduce the number of processes it runs at any time? Its up to the 120's, how many does ur comp. run? How do i get that lower and get it to run smoother?

Go download auslogics registry defrag, registry cleaner, and disk defrag. Run those and hopefully your computer will be better. Could also be spyware and whatnot, so also try downloading super antispyware and run that.

Lets make his computer faster by installing more crap?
Seriously OP just go into msconfig and delete any un-needed startup programs. Then defrag your harddrive using the windows tool.

Auslogics' products do work well man. Those programs only run when you open them yourself.

Back up your **** and perform a clean install man.

+1 to Auslogics. Superior to the Windows defrag. The two biggest things you can do are removing non-essential stuff from running in the background/at startup VIA msconfig and going to Start > Control Panel > System > Advanced System Settings > Advanced > Settings > "Adjust for best performance".

Intel Core 2 duo 2.2ghz
4gb ram
windows 7 64bit
500gb HD with 122 free
also just went to systems and adjusted for best performance
About how much space is gonna be required to backup my computer? All the memory i used up on my HD? How would i go about backing that up?
