I remember reading a thread about heating whey and how it can make it less effective in some form, I think they said it nutates the protein or something?
It was in regards to cooking with it, which I'm assuming they mean in the oven at like 350*f.
I like to have my protein shake with coffee. I notice if the water is too hot - like fresh boiling out of the kettle instead of mixing into the drink the protein will turn into grainy clumps. I won't drink it like that because it's ****ing gross, but I'm wondering if it might still be damaging at slightly lower temps, like a steamy drink. It would be hot enough that it's still above body temp so I'm not exactly sure, would it just be safer to stick with cold milk?
