    Not that his nutrition teacher is right but that study testing for muscle and cognitive functions?
    I don't have the full text but it seems like they were testing for reaction time and plasma BCAA levels - study also only lasted for 3 weeks.

    Um... Basic biochemistry?

    It really comes down to what was meant by, "kills the liver." These days that can mean a lot of things. After all, statements like, "My workout was a killer," aren't literal. Your liver is your major processing station for everything, including proteins. Eating a lot of protein means a lot of extra work for the liver. "Work was a killer" means you've had a ton of stuff to do and are tired as a result, no? So, it's quite reasonable to interpret, "kills the liver" as "it gives the liver a ton of stuff to do."

    Seek clarification.

    Very much so.

    I persoanlly think my blood test results were skewed because they were not fasted and I was IF'ing at the time. Who would have thought 100g+ of protein right before a blood test would result in a high liver count..

    what about a recovered alcoholic who drank daily for a decade or longer ?
    the liver does heal itself , my liver count used to be high but havent drank in 6 months or so ? am i farked? am i gonna kill my liver with whey shakes
