Obama started rough because he tried so damn hard to get the 2 sides to meet in the middle. Tried so hard to be accepted. Tried so hard to do everything at once. but recently he has began to surround himself with the right people and seems to be making sense. I think when it is all said and done (in 2016 after his second term) people will look back and think he was a pretty solid president. Now I admit I am no political genius, but this is my take.

Again, I will say I am not the smartest guy when it comes to politics. I am just stating the way I observed it. It seemed to me that Obama knew he had a lack of experience and thought his best chance of survival was to bring the 2 sides together. It is an impossible task and his confidence (arrogance) probably led him to believe he could tackle it. Think about this way, if he could have the parties working together how easy woul dit be to get the people to follow him then.
I am not saying he HAD to bring them together, I am saying he thought he needed to.

Go read what I said. The whole reason I am NOT VOTING IS BECAUSE VOTES DON'T MATTER.
What part of that don't you understand? Go look at the electoral college in more detail, also take a look at gerrymandering while you are researching.
Votes are more a feel-good thing for citizens then anything, particularly ever since the two party system came around. Go look at the words our fore fathers had about the two party system. You people are so phucking caught up in blaming the other party, that nothing ever gets done.

To an extent I see your point and I used to think the same thing, but understand we vote for the people that cast the electoral votes as well. I would not think that someone would go against the popular vote of their region and risk being voted out. With that being said the presidential vote should be the popular vote, although I am sure there are flaws in that as well.

All politicians are completely full of shiit and I don't like any of them. And saying that a certain politician never answers questions directly? Yeah that's what politicians do. Get used to it.

With those who don't give a damn about baseball, I can only sympathize. I do not resent them. I am even willing to concede that many of them are physically clean, good to their mothers and in favor of world peace. But while the game is on, I can't think of anything to say to them. ~Art Hill

So your talking about the economy? So please if you will clarify.
But note;
I don't agree with how he dealt with fannie mae and freddie mac, the stimulus packages (delaying the inevitable), but imo he put a band-aid on a gunshot wound but he wasn't responsible for the housing blowup. And though he gets blamed for the monetary policy of the fed's decisions under Greenspan (much like obama w/bernanke), the fed is independent of the pres.

But if your talking about the wars than it's already been said, he's spent as much if not more

I'm always going to vote for the more moderate candidate. I would vote moderate republican as a rule, but republicans have gone full retard with all of this pushing of super conservative insane candidates.
