Why do people 500 calorie surplus bulk? If your body puts on an ounce of fat in a net gain of a day then did you not succesfully fuel your body so that it had enough energy to grow? INB4 someone says its to hard to to stay on a strict diet because 1/100 days you might eat maintenance and get no gains ofc its better to bulk and make sure you put on 25 pounds of fat. derp

Lol so what that I am In red Its because I got negged by like 1 person when I was unaware of nutrition. In fact it was about bulking I was a firm believer of 500+ calorie surplus bulking but he taught me the ways. Explain to me why someone that put on a pound of fat a week against 1/4 of a pound of fat a week has more gains.

Most peoples arguments are ridiculous...They go a little like this.I need to make sure I am at a surplus so Ill eat 500 calories extra...But that logic is flawed so what if 1-10 days in 12 months if you eat at maintenance by accident instead of a 100-250 surplus. You can bulk for almost double the time if you are smart about your calories and macros so Im pretty sure the traditional route of bulking 6 months for 26 pounds of fat and cutting for the next 6 months for 26 pounds(To preserve mass and strength) is bad.
