mks is right. Usually barbells weight 45 lbs. Yes, you add it to your bench.

Make a sticky with this question, it gets asked alot, the 1st post can be just to weigh your bar on a bathroom scale, they all dont weigh the same unless they are pro bars.

yeah, they're about 45 pounds each. If the hand grip part is thinner than another, then usually the part you put the weights on are usually longer than say the bars with a thicker hand-grip
