I've been lifting and dieting on my own for about a year, lost about 30 lbs and put on a lot of muscle...but I still have quite a bit of fat to lose. I'm at 190, 5'10" and about 20%BF....I tried a free PT session at my gym and the trainer completely kicked my butt and it was all body weight exercises. Question is, should I keep doing what I'm doing (lift 5x a day and cycling classes) or should I dish out the money and do the PT? SHe says "in a year I'll look I'll look like a superstar". But I'm skeptical...any thoughts please?

I think my diet is fair...for breakfast I either eat whole wheat toast and egg whites with skim milk or a bowl of cherrios or plain oats. For lunch and dinner I switch between lean steak, chicken breast, and turkey with lots of veggies. I drink a protein shake per day (on my hour drive home from work) and drink lots of water at work.
I really just don't wanna pay for a PT...but I think I'm in somewhat of a slump in my progresss.
