i don't have pics atm, because just today i was told that i was getting cut and i couldnt take hearing that anymore. and i don't want to get cut its the last thing i want. i want to bulk up and i'm not sure how to get that bulky build? i eat a lot and i workout. i dont do high reps. i do like 10 reps 3 sets. no more than 10 reps. my friend gave me that advice and i also follow his workouts. and hes pretty big. but also when he was my size he took supplements i believe so maybe im thinking that gave him a bulky-build. do i need to include a bulk- protein shake? i didnt really want to take supplements. but i think i might have to. my back is cut, my shoulders, my tris, biceps are kind of cut havent been able to work them out lately do to a forearm issue. but im starting up again. pretty much everything is cut except my abs. and i dont work them frequently like once every four days and even they dont look bad.
i literately eat as much as i can. like i eat 2-3 weeks groceries in 1 week. is it the supplements im missing for that bulky-edge? i try to get a little over 40g of protein after i eat, with just food. have not taken any supplements since last spring. just been all natural.

coming from me, someone thats been in your situation, you need to take on a strength routine like 'strating strength' google it or look at the top of this forum section, the routine will build your whole frame, i have managed to double myself in size (visually) by doing SS and eating lots of food, what i will tell you now but is, the diet is what will make or break you, i didnt understand this for a very long time and i wasted hell long working out, people that sell supps or recommend supps are stupid because there is nothing better than whole natural foods, if u want to buy supps just get WHEY protein and some form of carbohydrate powder (get a complex carb mix like maizy waze) stay away from simple sugars and stuff when bulking you want foods that are COMPLEX in carbs like bread, rice, potatoes etc. Listen if you really want a chance of gaining weight and muscle drink whole milk, do not get soy or skim, you are bulking you NEED fat, but dont go to macca's unless your case is extreme.
This is just a rant of a few ideas for you with no actual context, eat every few hours, never let yourself get hungry, and train hard, goodluckRe-born and ready to go

10-06-2011, 04:39 AM #7ILS is a primal threat/mating display observed in the human male. The ILS display involves the male human holding out it’s arms away from it’s body at approximately a 20-40 degree angle and then walking with a slow deliberate gait inorder to look more imposing to other humans. The posture is used primarily as a form of non-verbal communication such as a mating display to attract or impress females or as a defense or dominance posture to appear larger to a threat or to intimidate rival males.

Hi guys. I'm new to the forum. But I've been around the block. My advice would be if you aren't already splitting your meals in 6 to 8 portions, you should. And gradually increase the size of each meal. Also, most important... Your protein intake has to be no less than 2g for each 2.2 pound of body weight. Do this and you'll see results.

Try getting a gainer. I used to eat a lot and never really gain much because I some how managed to burn it off just as easy. But then I got a gain and started just taking half servings (around 700 cals more than I would usually take in per day) and I started noticing. And once my body got used to that i started taking full servings. Then I started taking near bed time so I could sleep and build. Made a huge difference. GL.

I was going to school so I couldnt afford having to buy food all the time. All i had was the dining hall and a certain amount of visits per week. And even though I ate a lot there I needed extra calories so it was easy for me to make a shake to gain them. I mean nothing can replace food, no doubt but at the time I was doing everything in my power to make sure I was reaching my set goal of calories and a gainer did the trick.

What I do realize is that you go by what you read here, you follow advice of others, the actual professionals in here. You don't go out there and experiment for yourself. Your a 16 year old kid, not even a hair on his dick -probably on steroids- that thinks he knows everything. You're nothing but a fool. a True bodybuilder goes out and makes everything is own. Its what divides every one from the champions. Do you ever see Frank, Ronnie or Jay on these forums? No, coz instead of getting lectures from kids like you on how to train, they GO out there and train. Someday when you grow up YOU will realize you can have all the education in the world. But wisdom comes with age.
But thanx for the advice. I have educated myself on something today. I have learned that this forum isn't what I thought it would be.
Sorry georgee1 for your thread looking like this. A simple piece of advice turned into a dispute of who thinks he is the smartest in here. Take my advice. Experiment on yourself, do what works for you. Bodybuilding is a sport, a lonely sport. You already know how to play it. Now you have to perfect it. Only you can do that. Nobody else...
Is there a mod in here that can ban me please? I don't think I want to be part of this.

I know where you are coming from, but there is nothing un-natural about taking protein shakes.
One of the many possible reasons your not bulking is that your not taking enough protein.. So supplements can really help you out. I would also refuse to take protein shakes first, I hardly had a diet back then, I was just being foolish, but as my training became consistant, I learnt alot of things along the way.
I know I dont post alot, I dont know much either, just giving my opinion..
