I'm trying to eat better and I need to eat WAY less carbs that I'm intaking at the moment. Can someone give me some ideas for fast low carb foods? I have been eating yogurt every morning and it's just putting me way past my carb intake. I can't afford to eat yogurt. Need to eat eggs instead, but what about lunch etc.. Tuna maybe?
Any ideas for easy fast low carb meals and snacks? Thanks ladies

Yea the keto section should have a bunch of stuff there...I used to eat shirataki noodles a lot...i think they have virtually no carbs...and they are similar to regular noodles
are you eating plain greek yogurt? that has little carbs compared to regular or flavored yogurt"Never be a prisoner of your own style." (Armin van Buuren)

Cabot is my favorite Greek yogurt, and I've tried them all! It only comes is 2 lb container for about $3.79. It's super thick and creamy. I add a few Stevia NuNaturals drops to sweeten it a bit. Sometimes I add peanut butter or PB2 or Fitnutz chunky. One serving has 22 gm of protein, 11 carbs and 5 gm fat. Their vanilla bean flavor is to die for, but higher in cals and way higher in carbs (33 gm).

I like the 2% plain greek yogurt and add berries and stevia. That way it's still less carbs/calories than the flavored greek yogurts. ALso good with cinnamon/sweetener(like someone said) and SF syrup. Oh and I think the 2% GY is better than the FFGY because besides it tasting better I seem to do better with having some fat with all my meals /snacks.
-Another quick lowish carb meal is a sammy made with a flatout or or low carb wrap. I like them with tuna(&light mayo) or smoked turkey and cheese etc. Flatouts also make a great, simple "pizza" by toasting the flatout in a frying pan and adding pizza sauce, LF mozz and topping such as onions and peppers and some more of that smoked turkey deli meat!
-cottage cheese makes a great lowish carb snack with a decent amount of protein. Great with cinnamon/sweetener!

My husband is grossed out by plain Greek yogurt as well - I actually really enjoy the taste! I get Chobani. I find Oikos to be bitter but I also like ***e. Chobani is cheaper, though, so that's what I go with. There's only 7g carbs in plain. You can always just mix some fresh berries into it with cinnamon as well. Berries tend to have lower carb totals.

Thanks! I need to figure out where to get some greek yogurt and berries. I normally shop at Walmart and they really don't have anything because it's a neighborhood one and not a super one. I'm going to try Price Chopper, Hyvee... or maybe even Whole Foods? I forgot about Whole Foods. There's one near me.

As the other ladies have stated, the keto forums here are a wonderful place to start. Plenty of great ideas over there.
Some of my favorites....
Caesar salads with full fat dressing.
Greek yogurt, but I use real vanilla flavoring and Splenda to spice it up.
I eat truckloads of mac nuts.
If I have a sweet fix, I'll do strawberries with freshly whipped cream.
Fresh coconuts are also tasty.
Avocado slices, a little salt/pepper, sliced mushrooms and black olives
Prosciutto!!!
Deviled eggs with full-fat mayo.
Currently I'm on a spinach, alfredo with mushrooms, boneless/skinless chicken thigh kick--love that!
And of course cheeses--glad that I can finally eat my fill on those, guilt free!“Any idiot can face a crisis, it is this day-to-day living that wears you out.” Anton Chekhov

Shirataki noodles - seconded - for when you want a carb hit without having the carb calories. I like them in hot-pot style noodle soups (particularly in winter) with loads of seafood, or in a Shanghai style chicken-mince noodle dish. There are more kinds you can get in the states than in Australia, too, so they make excellent pasta substitutes.

Hey, I usually have a protein shake in the mornings but lunch is always tuna salad. Can of tuna, bit of light mayo, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and a bit of pickle...low carb. For dinner i usually have chicken breast, veg and maybe a little rice. I still have carbs but just try not to eat too many.
