Skin flushing/itching from preworkouts... does it go away?

Took Hemo Rage UC 3 times in a week and skin flushed and itched like crazy for over a week? don't know if i wanna take it again. pre-workouts just not for me?

They all give me slight itchyness but only during workout....

I am not sure if Hemo Rage has a high dose of Niacin or not. I don't see it on the label, but what you describe sounds like a Niacin Flush.

That or you are sensitive to the Beta-alanine in it.

That would be the beta-Alanine causing the itching-sensation. You can minimize it by taking it along with a little food.

Yeah, that was my first thought - niacin for the flushing, but like you said, it isn't on the label. Maybe the BA is causing the flushing, too.

I have never heard of flushing with BA, but I guess it isn't impossible. I mean, it obviously causes a reaction and sensation in the skin, so I guess flushing could go along with that.

I don't think BA can cause flushing as the feeling is purely in the nervous system

The feeling you get from taking a pwo containing BA is normal. Its called paresthesia which is the itchy feeling you feel, the severity goes away once you build up your tolerance.

I personally like the feeling and wish I was still as sensitive to the effect.
