just sayin man. good luck on your 5 hours shop labour to hook a new cat to a new catback and remove 2-3 bolts under your car and rip off the hangers and then install the whole new piping into the hangers that the kit comes with, and replace those 2-3 bolts; and then move up to the engine bay and remove all the oem airbox crap and replace it with the aftermarket intake setup that is designed for your car.... goals in 2011

After the winter hopefully.I personally think the HKS exhaust looks the best but my top 4 choices are HKS (Looks), Fast Intentions (Gains) GTHAUS (Sound) or Invidia Gemini (best bang for the buck). I don't know whether the different brands of HFC will make a difference but I'm leaning towards ERZ/CNT if there isn't one because of the cheap price ($300 shipped). I'll also go with the Volk TE37SL or CE28s dropped on swifts with an Amuse kit. I'm saving up for the parts in the mean time. Any exterior mods for you or are you keeping the nismo stock?

HKS is definitely sexiest in terms of looks, but I read about people saying it is quiet so that is off my list. GTHAUS sounds sick as fuuuuu so that is one I am still looking into. The full titanium one is like $6000 though lol.
Nice wheel choice, and the Amuse kit is my favorite aftermarket kit, gjdm. As far as exterior mods for me, I was thinking of getting some type of Volks down the road. Especially if I can get a good price for my stock nismo wheels

why do you want them to do a .pre-install dyno? so you know the power and tq before and know how much you gained? who cares? all that matters is after. you can prolly find a dyno chart for a stock setup online. just install stuff yourself, then take it to the shop and only have them do the dyno tune. you'll be much more satisfied knowing you did it yourself, plus saved the money.

4-5 hours, really? coudl do all that in two.
but ya, intake can be done by itself. most likely a flat head screw driver. and maybe a socket wrench with some sockets. CAI = 30 min or less. the exhasut? and hour. and then the cat would be done at the same time.*****official misc photography crew *****

You make no sense bro, oh and btw they are going to say whatever hours it takes by BOOK, not by how long it actually takes them.
It's called they gotta make money, and urine idiot for even going to them to do that.
P.S. It's to easy to install yourself, than go over there and ask for a tune, as long as you don't get on your car like an idiot you wont have to worry about breaking **** when it's untuned.

Shops will charge by the hour per job, even if it takes 15 minutes to install the intake, its still 1 hr labor charge. So they'll add up the hours per part installation.
