One thing that stands out is how much Arnold dominates in every photo.
Another thing these pictures make me realize was how genetically gifted Arnold was. Massive biceps with an overpowering peak, a huge puffed out chest and deep cuts on his massive quads even though he was tall. Not to mention he has a tight midsection that caves in and is surrounded by flaring bat wings that attach down to his waist. He had all of this...AND he was actually tall, and not just a normal guy compared to manlets. Not to many guys can say that. I gotta think he is one of the genetic greats. God knows what he'd look like with todays drugs.Frustrated at bodybuilding? Read my rant:

Thanks for sharing the photos a lot I've never seen.
I think we all wished that Lou had continued to compete. Look how impressive he is in 74! He was still only 22, a couple days away from being 23 I think. He competed the day before also, in which he won the Mr. Universe for the second time.
I'm guessing he was too young the first time to compete in the Mr. Olympia or something? Why did he compete in it after winning in 1973?

Really? t-bar? I mean these oldschool duys were doing so much volume that I don't even know what their favorite exercises are. The difference to me is some of those old school squats like sissy squats or pullovers for chest etc. They were also doing a lot of pullups. Nowadays, people do more lat pulldowns and pullovers are not so famous. t-bar rows are pretty rare too other than Ronnie and Jay.
Grainy hardcore religious slabs of thick dense muscle. So grainy that it hurts your eyes

Here's what he says about it:
Not enough bodybuilders do this exercise these days, but it was always one of my favorites. Stand with your knees slightly bent and grasp the handles of a T-bar machine. Position your torso at about 45 degrees to the floor with the weight at arms’ length.
Without moving your upper body, bring the weight up to touch your chest and hold for a moment at the top, then lower it under control to the start.
