Sure nuf i was doing too much intensity but lucky me has work and family chit has been keep me from the gym

food porn for sure this weekend. on maintenance cals. i am loving my pasta and rice ... not gained a single lb eating it on the regular. spring carb & water wt cuts in apr, may then jun kinda sucked looking back on it.

lunch breaks have to be functional no time these days :-/ ... drive, lift, drive, eat in 5 min then back to work ... last week started back at double days ... my electrolyte balance game has been a bitch so just added extra salt/potassium + v8 juice to my regiment to cure the pain of cramping.
sat will be a full sheiko squat / bench day . i am excited to see my beloved "home" gym with space and more space ... omg fuk the lack of people just space betwwen equipment excites me these days. . there will be blood curling screams if someonr hijacks the power rack not good nope not good if that happensLast edited by beatha; 07-04-2014 at 08:45 PM.

Tough session this afternoon but did all that I need to do.
Think this is just 3rd DL workout since meet anyways i have been per advice angling my feet out and trying to find the foot placement that feels "right" ... Not quite found it yet. It's like every set I step up to the bar and take forever to dig my feet in - establish that rooted / solid feeling prior to reaching down . . . must look like I'm praying over the bar lol.
But on positive note over gripping (mixed - alternating underhand) plus hook grip had the bar firmly secured. In that aspect easiest 3pps reps ever.Last edited by beatha; 07-06-2014 at 03:22 PM.

who is helping you with deadlifts?
now that i am more familiar with sheiko, i have so much respect for you and how you've slogged it out. which sheikos did you do?
hook and mixed FTW. i can't hook very well with a regular bar, but with that competition deadlift bar, i can. LOVE. i can't wait to compete again so i can get a decent grip. lol.
your hands are tiny. how do you do it?

No one really. Just taking the advice from the teams coaches I got that day. I made mental notes of what they said would help me improve my DL.

Hope your holiday was good. We had a nice fun 3 day weekend, grilled 3 times . . . food porn is from the last round - st louis style ribs, mushrooms and zucchini - had a bit for dinner and it was yummy.

Weak reps PR I know. assuming my memory is not faulty.
Sorta repped 315 x 15 in back to back singles with a quick reset (30-60s rechalk reset break - posted that vid a while ago) but i dont consider that a "real" set of 315. yesterday my grip held so it was bang bang set -looked more like my speed DL. Nice 315 double B!! I agree, hook grip is FTW. TOtally. Just make sure your nails are trimmed.
THose ribs look excellent as well.

I was happy with the double lol impressive or not i'd never (that i can recall) tried it so
