LOL Don't be nervous! You are so funny
If you are talking about Juggertha's comment - that was a great compliment
The guys often like to compare a lift to the lifter's own bodyweight, anything matching it is considered a great lift(a lot of guys can't do this so it becomes the ultimate goal for them) and you went further! So he was confirming that that was a kick ass bench.
Thank you for posting your video, sorry for being a pain in the butt

Lou thank you for being a pain to this shy(ish) gal but I appreciate it
Sad to confess I put my big girl panties on then got butt hurt over someone mentioning my wt. Repeat to self FNG x infinity ... totally blaming sensitive mood on tom and/ or moon phase ... omg I had a teary eyed moment this morning and neg thoughts festered all day ... if you say that his comment was not how I took it then I'll SO go with that and smile cause its to my benefit to be less neg. b, i went to see and i think he was impressed and just being a dude. i'm always calculating in my head like that, too. if i ever say omg that was x coefficient pls know that i say it out of being super impressed, as i think he was. dude was just trying to wrap his brain around that sort of bench.
i still cant squat my own damn body weight, much less bench it. you're just flat out amazing and competing in the elite range.

Hey B ... I went over to the O35 to read your post and "the" post and I agree, it was a compliment. I'm sure he was saying that you are small to be doing such huge lifts.
I know how you feel though. I've taken things wrong on these forums before too. There is no emotion in written text unless it is expressed somehow. So things can be easily misinterpreted. I honestly think his post wasn't an intent to point out your weight, rather point out your strength.

Hey Bea, the gals above are spot on with their assessment! He was paying you a a great compliment. I have read a few of his posts before and he is one of the nice guys that often visits that thread.
Oh I feel terrible that you have been stewing over it so long. Toss the negativity aside and hold yer head up high.

Just went to look at what you were talking about, meh I'm not a fan of that guy srs. I don't think he meant to say anything in a negative light, as others have pointed out, but still meh. You're in the top spot over here for benching strength and skill (top lifting strength and skill in freaking everything actually lol, I'm tryna catch ya on anything) do a Zeus stance with the victory of one million gods and keep beastin'!
I don't like "moments" either, someone almost cried in front of me at work the other day (for a reason that was NOT like getting a foot amputated by machinary), Mammie ran da fuk away lol.Current PRs:

I'm not the only one that has those days I (and everyone around me) is just glad they are not frequent. I'm back to normal Bea or as normal as I ever am .

DB BP

not sure what I was thinking knowing I'd go do cardio few hours later where invariably he'd have us doing moves that really worked arm/shoulder
Tricep Cable PD
40 x 10
50 x 10 x 2
use the station on the end which is much resistive/difficult than the inside ones'
Smith - Split Squat
25pps x 10 reps per leg x 5
That workout took bout exactly 1 hour. When home made an veggie omelet took pwo supps, did some chores/ran errands . . . the about lunch time went back to gym
Cardio
Couple more hours spent in the gym . . . Anyway beat the instructor in so did rounds of bag work, lateral foot work and jumped rope (ok stared at my claves in the mirror :P and people watched lifters in the wt area) beforehand
When he got there we did circuit style training
20 rounds x 3 minutes w/ 1 min breaks between
Needless to say Bea is popped. About to make dinner Thai dish know to us as Evil Jungle Princess . . . food porn most likely in my next post
At class E clued me in to a ALL PRO WOMENS' MMA Event . . . Invictus FC invictusfc.com

Thanks Ham I needed the deload. I didn't use to when doing much more volume but now I gotta. Btw want vid of 105'er taking you down. ROFL
I, Bea of the Amazon Sisters of Iron, PL Squad . . . are there enough of us yet to form a larger unit . . . , here by propose a motion to add to the membership rules list "All toe hair shalt be trimmed to a length that is too short for use as ropes in hog tying."
Will another Amazon please 2nd this motion? Or else I'll feel the need to coach P, given that she's closest to Hobbes, on how to do a double leg take down and leg lock that puts her in a position to pluck Ham's toe hairs for use as hog ties. Assuming P is will to take on such as a daunting mission. Hint hint best to use the Ham-toons' broccoli tree's for cover.Last edited by beatha; 01-07-2013 at 06:36 PM.

Heya B!
Lots of stuff happening in here! Got damn dat 190lb bp
Glad you had a quite New Years Eve, ours was as well Me likey the food porn and will need to try making the roasted tomato soup sometime.
You're not the only one with emo moments, they've happened a lot more frequently of late. Your lifts are crazy not matter what and you can have the pleasure of knowing that you out lift most anyone regardless of statsIf this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.
I like eating, it helps with the not dying.

Thanks yea alot happening, mostly good things, glad you liked the food porn . . . the tomato soup was yummy and only got sweeter with age.
Wow only like a month more of till you wee one is here exciting but stressful no doubt so you have good reasons including hormonal ones for being emo. Gonna swing by your journal in a few an see how it's going.
Love that gif too.
The deload was good. I'm so not sure how much I run the next 9 lifting workouts leading up to the meet. Perhaps alter the spreadsheet maxes by 10 lb and just run the week 1 and week 2 then just deload again the week of the meet. Scratching head.
ah I gotta 2nd of sorts so . . . mammie trim them toe hairs. lulz
ROFL . . . yep except it probably look more like a violent bit of rowing where tiny chick is there instead of a BB . . . I think Ham could get about 20 reps w/ slams with a 105'ery.
Hiya Lex, Geek, Swooshie and MaliaBot . . . Thanks for stopping in. Happy End of Hump Day !!!!
I'm tired as hell but can't sleep yet . . . had eventful training session - took a couple to the face and rather forceful block/check strikes to the arm/shoulder - I'm ache . . . lulz . . . good thing our last 1/2 hour of drills involved striking the giant tire with our sticks WACK WACK WACK . . . hmm calm the anger / slightly frustrated beast within.

1/11/12 Friday - Squat w/ minor bench work
Off work today. Had some time to think / plan for feb meet. Also had time to do some reading about prep for a lifter about 3 weeks out. One article suggested working up to the planned max lift (new 1RM PR) so that's what I did today.
w/u cycling 15 min + stretching
Squat
belt and wrist wraps after 225 loaded on bar
belt, wrist and knee wraps for singles
5 @ bar, 95, 135, 155
3 @ 185, 225
3 @ 245 rep PR
1 @ 275, 275
1 @ 295 New gym 1RM PR
had a spotter for this which helped confidence about not getting stuck in the hole. I did have a mid rep pause but pushed through. Depth I didn't vid not 100% sure it's competition depth, it was close, all I could really feel was the python squeeze of the knee wraps.
Bench Press
5 @ bar, 95, 135
4 @ 155 . . . skipped 5th rep attempt when I lost the arch on 4th
Ft Squat
65 x 10 x 5 . . . bit too easy but my knees were sore from the heavy singles/knee wraps
Short ass workout that took an hour and wore me out.Last edited by beatha; 01-11-2013 at 04:55 PM.

Thanks
I'll be shameless and admit I like "atta girls" lifting is one of my favorite past times and pretty much only people on here get it . Anyway tapering workouts start tomorrows as I'm not planning to test my DL ah that one will be what it will be.
Draft plan for the Feb meets (yet plural 2 diff feds having meets locally and I'm like ummmm rubbinghandsgleefully.jpg . . . iz been bit by competition bug)
Anyway if I manage not to hurt myself between now will try something like this
squat - 250 , 275, 295 or so
bench - 175, 181, 187
dl - 330, 347, 358 or soLast edited by beatha; 01-12-2013 at 10:45 PM.
