There was an electrical fire in my kitchen yesterday while I was at the gym. I was only gone for an hour and a half and I came home to the whole fire department running into my apartment with hoses. They thought I was still in there. They breached the front door...broke thru my bedroom window and my sliding glass door. Between the fire and the smoke damage I lost almost everything. They let me in briefly to salvage some clothes for the next few days but there was so much smoke damage they were all black and smelled like fire. My apartment complex isnt giving me a new place. They deemed my apartment unlivable and broke my lease with no obligation. They said I would have to find somewhee else to live. So...now Im homeless and all I was able to get was a couple changes of clothes and my firearms.
I lost my 2 little best buddies. Truman and Whitey. Some of you guys might remember the epic thread with videos from when I saved them from the shelter as tiny kittens. One of the firemen said he tried to revive them but they were already gone. FEELSBADMAN!. I was able to snap a few pics of the fire damage in the kitchen...and I have some memories from my buddies RIP.

that sucks man im sorry to hear about that but maybe sue the land lords because that doesnt seem legal if the fire was electrical then mantience should have fixed that awhile ago. If it was me id find a good attourney and handle this in court, there are loads of things im guessing you would be compensated for.
