talking sht is like one of the biggest parts of dota. i see a lot of new dota players in dota 2 (people who haven't played 1) and they are all so nice or quiet. i'm still kind of surprised. i play 2 a lot more now but i still miss the sht talking from 1.

Dust/Gem only reveals the true PL which does nothing to stop the endless ass raping by his illusions

spam aoe to kill his illusions - he uses his 7sec cooldown spirit lance and in <3 seconds - more ass raping illusions

gank him early game - if you even can with the illusions and 3.25 sec slow - he also has invis escape

btw 4.2 agi / level

Yea he's pretty bullchit right now. Gank him early with dust and get early/mid game heros and just push the crap out of them and force teamfights the first 20 minutes and hope you can end with your big gold advantage before he gets too out of control.

God yes, I hate playing against PL. Best thing to do is gank early, if enemy team has wards, just use smoke and gank. Once PL gets radiance+heart there is no way you can win in a pub game. The average pub player gets way too confused by his illusions, explains why his winrate is going up and up.

Good PL is hard to beat but id just ward and dust as early as possible,deny like crazy and make sure to get a few ganks to prevent his farm. An unfarmed PL won't be able to do ****.

PL is just really really really strong right now. Pretty hard to lane against him too unless youre something like maybe a bat or ... well yeah. especially if he goes tranquils -> soul ring. yeah have fun. lol infinite nukes of peace.

How about picking QoP, or Leshrac? Would Medusa be a good pick against him?

Don't try and counter pl with kotl or **** like that. Besides ganking him during farm phase, void hard counters. Luna is decent outwell IF she outfarms Pl

I've never had success trying to directly counter/gank pl. Just stick a survivable offlane solo against him that can maybe deny a little farm like a wr, then just try and **** hard on the rest of his team and take a few towers early. Hopefully he wont be able to get up and running.

You'd probably be better off sticking your dual lane vs him instead of letting him get free farm. Denying Ezalor is a good start; stick that ezalor in a lane against him with another strong hero that can make use of the mana. If he switches lanes, follow him around.

Kunkka can do DECENTLY against him in the mid game, but late game PL gets to a point where he's just unstoppable.


QoP wrecks him mid game, ES is always a nice pick also. Always carry dust, always carry TP (in case you're alone and he's chasing you) to avoid giving him free kills.

How to counter PL?
don't get allow him to get to 6 slots,


he will be run in the safelane probably with a baby sitter, and someone pulling if not roaming
meanwhile you got the whole neuts to farm, and you could get a decent solo bot hardcarry pool some regen and they won't be able to touch you 1v1.

then you can pressure mid, becuase you can roam with 2, and jungle together

get some xp on your supports some core, items, push down some towers, and just steam roll from then on..
