I hope he is making some serious progress this off season. His potential is just unreal and it would be a shame if he never reached his full capabilities.

The thing that strikes me about Ced is how humble he is, which makes him a lovely guy (he's even spoken to me once on FB chat), but strikes me as somewhat of a pitfall in bbing. That is, I believe a certain degree of arrogance and self-belief is crucial for success in sport, and especially bbing, which is such a mentally demanding sport. After his win at the Europa, following the car crash, he took everything people were saying about his "regression" to heart and seemed to be completely disappointed in himself. To be fair, the emotional and mental toll of the month or so prior would have been monumental, but I just worry that he doesnt have the absolute burning desire to excel or the belief that he can. Having said this, Id love to be wrong as Ced actually one of my favourite bber's and one of the best personalities in the sport, and to see him live up to his genetic potential would be awesome!

Has potential out of this world

When I read his posts on MD, I realized he is a good person. Has a good mind set, and more humble than he should be I think. Almost TOO nice if there is such a thing.

I think him staying in the ARMY is a good thing. It's stable, and most bodybuilders live very unstable financially. I do think that if he quit the army he could definitely make a lot of money in bodybuilding. Not just from winning comps, but because he is pretty good at commentating and he'd do well with magazines.

Then again, the industry spits you up and chews you out if you get injured. There is no retirement plan.

I think his plan is to get an easier position in the military where he can dedicate more time to bodybuilding.

Frankly, I don't know how David Henry does it.
