Use their to indicate possession =My friends have lost their tickets.
They're is a contraction of the words they and are =I'm glad that they're so nice to new students here.
Lose = Please do not Lose my Book
Loose = This knot is too loose.
One way to remember the difference between the two words is to think that "lose has lost an 'o'".
