dude looks pretty badass now. He was overshadowed and he lost his confidence throughout the show but he has a physique that can very soon go head to head with the best of the best! Look at the leg improvements. Look at the waist. The arms. Hes already over 75% ready to take the O trophy. Who knows, maybe hes gonna Colemanize his physique and blow Heath out of the water next fall. Hes already got more ruggedness and more aesthetics than Heath. Not nearly the detail but hes not too far off...Curry is the reincarnation of Chris Cormier. Lets just hope that Curry doesnt fall into the clubscene too much.

He needs a lot more size overall and for those legs to catch up before he can even think about challenging anyone at the top now. Besides that he is a lot shorter than I thought he was when I saw him stood next to Rockel, I thought he was a good 5'8 at least! He's got the frame and shape but only time will tell.

^^ This. I don't really know what the judges saw in him at the O, because I wasn't seeing a drastically improved Curry. His lower body was without a doubt the weakest in the top 10, and from everything I've seen, his conditioning was probably to worst as well. He has a lot problems to fix before he can even think about a top 3 finish, and with the new rules next year, even qualifying again.

I agree, his legs were the worst and conditioning not unbelievable but his upperbody shape coupled with that waist was killing the likes of Rockel and Hide who's waists have grown. I think if he has a decent off season and brings up those legs a fair bit then he's going to qualify again at a small show. Right now though his upperbody shape is carrying him to his placings so far. Out of all the people who placed outside of the top 6 the one I think with the best shot of getting in there soon is Rhoden.

Him placing high is a testament to the poor lineup this year more than anything. He placed 8th. If Branch Warren had been at the show, he would have been 9th. If Ronny Rockel hadn't been on his last legs from competing all year, he would have been 10th. If Roelly Winklaar had been at the show in decent shape, he would have been outside the top 10.
We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. We're ducking more bullets than George Farah. We're facing more death than a kid leg pressing at Branch Warren's gym.
You can't stop us. You can't hold us back.

ur wrong bulkus...Kai Greene paints himself with enormous rugged traps for a reason...because he wishes he had the typical mesomorphic traps that come with being the Kevin Levrone's, Phil Heath;s, onnie Coleman's Dorian Yates's and the....Brandon Currys. Tall traps are the most primal signal of the alpha male

Who cares. This is bodybuilding. The guy doesn't even deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Kai, Phil, other than talking about potential.
How bout we just stick to what the thread is about - appreciating his physique and his placing at the olympia, and wait and see what he brings in the future.Natural Bodybuilding - The Lonely Journey
