    Help choosing laptop

    Just looking for a durable laptop that will be used mostly for schoolwork.

    I've been looking at the following laptops closely:

    Sony VAIO 15.5" Intel Core i3-2310M Laptop (VPCEH12FXB) ($550)

    Sony VAIO 15.5" Intel Core i3-2310M Laptop (VPCEH13FDB) ($629)

    ASUS 15.6" Laptop, 2.3GHz AMD Quad-Core A6-3400, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD (K53TA-CST1-CBIL) ($599)

    Which one of the above 3 would you recommend? Are there any other laptops you think I should consider in the same price range? Thanks for any suggestions/comments.

    A lot of people recommend the ASUS, but I'm not familiar with their products. Anyone care to share some insight?
