Should I continue to bulk even if I cant do legs

Long story short, have been bulking for a while now a 4x per week routine that mostly inolves doing compounds (bench, deadlift, bb row, bb press, etc.) with a few iso and bodyweight exercises. Ive had bad knees for a few years and they recently took a turn for the worse, so that I cannot do any heavy leg exercises (squat, deadlift). I can do light, but would really like to rest them for about a month. Should I continue my bulk only doing heavy exercises for upper body and none/light for lower, or should I wait until my knees get better and I can do heavy lower body to resume my bulk?
