For the guy that owns geneticwar.com, I'll buy your site for $100 to redirect it to my fitness network. Your compete rankings estimate to about that value, let me know how we can work it out.

Does anybody have problems with new bb.com affiliate links?
I have made few reviews in last week or so, added links toward bb.com site, but when I test them, I got 404 error from bb.com.
I have reported that to cj.com, but after 3-4 days, no words from them...
Old supplement and other links work OK.

Would backlinks suffer if I made them as http://sitename.com versus http://www.sitename.com ?

So I just signed up for hosting with Hostgator. Bought a domain and hosting. I have no idea what I'm doing.
I went into quickinstall and installed wordpress but I can't access my site.

So I'm told I should collect people's names and email address through my website, but I don't know what it's for? Is it just to send emails to people and try to remind them about your product every week, or are they more valuable than that?

It's mainly for 2 reasons
- First of all, it increases viewer retention rate. If someone signs up on your email list, they'll receive emails from you and be more likely to return and remember your site.
- Having their email also allows you to build a relationship with those people. If you continuously send out good content and useful information to them weekly, they'll trust you more and be more likely to buy from you or take your recommendation on what to buy.
If your email list is big enough, you may actually get paid quite a bit of money to plug a product or be able to trade recommendations with someone else with a big list to advertise your site also
Ultimately you want to get to a point where if search engines were to disappear tommorow, your site would be fine.
