Suicide is another thing that's so frowned upon in this society, but honestly, life isn't for everybody. It really isn't. It's sad when kids kill themselves 'cause they didn't really give it a chance, but life is like a movie: if you've sat through more than half of it and it sucked every second so far, it probably isn't gonna get great right at the very end for you and make it all worthwhile. No one should blame you for walking out early.

Nah, its bigger than that minimalist view.

Its ending a persons memories and effects on friends and family, its ending a persons possible accomplishments and activities. You never know how the presence of a single person can effect millions of things, for the good and bad. Chaos theory, butterfly effect, the first domino tipped over, suicide can cancel those effects.

Although, the suicide itself can start of a chain reaction of events that may change big and little things.

In the grand scheme of things I agree that we are insignificant, but people attach meaning to things and people and more than likely someone has attached meaning to you. Suicide steals that meaning from them, even if it is insignificant, and directly hurts them. So, suicide effects those that attach meaning to your life. It is up to you to decide if hurting them is what you want to do, regardless of our significance.
