Alright, this thread is probably going to come off a little on the juvenile side...but I'm seriously looking for answers. There is an attractive woman at my gym, who hits the weights...hard. You can tell she's there to get her routine done, spend some time afterwards doing cardio...and get out. She wears headphones, and is not a "gym social-butterfly". I don't want to interrupt her routine, but I'd like to approach her. Looking for any thoughts, and/or suggestions. If you've been successful (or haven't been)...in pursuing someone at the gym...let me know. Approach her, or just let her be? Thanks in advance!

Make an eye contact, smile.. Then continue doing w/e you're doin - next time you in the gym: grab your balls to your hand and approach her (when she's on a break between sets). ABC - approach from the front ..... Start your lines with o-hello,seen you here before... i am impressed by your weight routine, can you give me tips on .... w/e.. (s)exercise,diet..

Ya...I was thinking that same thing. Although, the flip-side of the coin was...If I see her sweaty, in workout clothes, and still find her attractive...that's gotta count for something. She might find it flattering. I had seriously thought about that, though. Which is why I posted. Appreciate the input.

Similar to a post before. Make Eye contact and smile and then go on with your routine. When she is DONE with her work out approach her.
Mention you didn't want to interrupt her workout before and just wanted to say hi now or something along those lines. Introduce yourself and play it by ear from there.I think 'Clean' and 'Dirty' when used in relation to food should be ***** out like curse words.

OP if talking to her outright makes you nervous due to ko300zx's advice, then http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mere_exposure_effect
Just make very small advances over the course of a week or a couple weeks - just eye contact, smiling, etc. Similar to what others have said.
I'm getting psychological up in here. All of humanity's problems stem from man's inability to sit quietly in a room alone.
