SUMMARY
My upper body strength is weak and it has several factors that play a part of that that I know need addressing.
1) Need more sleep (means getting to bed earlier)
2) Need to be more consistent in my diet (random junk in the evening)
3) Need more assistance work (been short on time and neglecting this, so I either need an extra day or pace myself better)
4) Ice shoulder after press days
5) Consistency on my supps
Supps include:
- fish oil
- cherry extract
- glucosamine
- b6
- whey - 2 scoops/day - mostly worked well in the evening to cut the junk food snacking cravings
Looking back, i've realized that when I hit these key points, I have the most progress. Once I get this lined out, I think I can make some headway. Never really written all this out, so hopefully since it's a visual list, I can keep it out in front and not neglect it.Team Ogre

BENCH
Did bench this week and it was a no-go because I was warming up with the bar, which was fine. Then had 95 on there and the pain in the shoulder was yelling at me, so I stopped and did assistance. Have an appointment with the chiro today to see what I can do about it.
Throwing baseballs at my son's practices doesn't help either. I hate that I can't even throw a baseball without pain much less press.

Yeah man, it's awesome.
On the shoulder, it's been there for a few months, but I haven't been lifting consistently since December so I thought things might get better. Before that, I wasn't able to do overhead pressing, but wade has been aware of that which is why he has stayed away from that with me.
The problem now is that I have issues with pressing in general now. I've had bursitis in the shoulder years ago and it got better. It's not the same feeling, but I can't say if that contributed or not to what I'm experiencing now. I just hope it's not an rotator cuff issue.Team Ogre
