Ok im 20 6'3 - 220 lbs ive worked out a little in the passed but finally decided im going to stick with it. Got a membership and have been working out with some friends
We're doing a 5 day work out plan somthing like
Monday - Chest
Tue - Bi
Wed - *forget atm
Thur - Legs
Fri - Shoulders/back
My friend im taking most advice from is extremely cut and strong hes been working out and eating right since his freshman days in high school
How does that lifting plan look? Its not exactly right cause i dont remember what all we did i just do as he says
Also how many calories, protien and all that should i be getting a day? Im trying to bulk and cut before spring break which is in 6 months. Im not expecting to be huge but i just want to be fairly comfortable with taking my shirt off and having some definition

First, determine your calories needed to maintain your current weight
Second, eat 20% less than that a day
Third, look up a real workout program in the stickies, one that gives real muscle instead of just toning. If it has a bicep day, it's not a real program
Try Mark Rippetoes StartingStrength, Jim Wendlers 5/3/1, or Bill Starrs5x5
for common starter stuff. Maybe check out all pros beginners routine or growth stimulus training(better for size and less strength).
Four, remember, diet is more important than any routine, get it in check and master yourself. Aim for 1g protein/lb of lean mass and make sure you are doing lots of SQUATS!
