**Official BF3 Thread** Now with our very own 64 player ranked server!

Thats right, we're testing out our very own MISC server. If everything works out after the 1st month we will be signing up for another 6 months.

Misc server info:

We also got a 30 slot Teamspeak 3 server! The TS room will be used for multiple rooms.. not just BF3.

We decided to all split the server location so it will be located in St. Louis, Missouri (this may change).

Future donation link will be misc.server@gmail.com, With a 5$ donation you earn VIP status and therefore a reserved spot in the server.

How you can help out the misc server:

Once the game comes out post the server IP in your sig.

Beta dates:

27th for pre-order
29th for everyone else

Release date:
OCT 25th for NA
OCT 28th for EU

I'm thinking about getting BF3 for my laptop after it comes out. It can run Bad Company 2 on advanced settings with everything at the highest level. This is based on single player, I haven't tried multiplayer like this, mostly because my college's internet connection sucks balls 24/7. I'm going to try it out later tonight though.

I assume if I can run it everything maxed, I'll be able to enjoy the game on medium or high, which is what I care about: playing the game for fun, not marveling at the graphics on ultra settings.

get a linux vps for like $4 a month, install teamspeak, apply for non-profit license = cheap 512 slot server. since most vps providers use 1gbit or @ least 100mbps there shouldn't be any problem. i use it for my clans teamspeak and have supported 135 users once. it can be cpu intensive, and ofc use a ton of bandwidth. each even we have, we probably use around 12gb of bandwidth in an hour or two

Preorder/MOH purchase will let you start playing Tuesday open beta will let you play Thursday.
