    insulin and GH suppression

now before I get ripped to shreds about making a thread on insulin and a potential negative effect of it, I understand that you guys say GI and insulin is completely pointless.

but anyway....i know there are studies out there that a huge insulin spike before bed will cause a suppression in the secretion of GH. I just had a mini binge of something like 4 fiber one bars, a banana, some animal crackers, and 3 nutri grain bars so it got me thinking about it a bit lol.

whats your guys take on this? I know its still cals in vs cals out etc. Im not asking "will carbs at night make me fat???", but for actual recovery from weight training and growth release......

    what do you guys think?

    oh ps...

    heres one study. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC425166/

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.
