    Depends on the kind of rice. Oats > white rice. But brown rice is pretty good. I personally find it easier to consume larger amounts of oats than rice.

    Brown rice raw per 100g = 76g carbs

    Raw oats per 100g = 58g carbs
    ^^ these 2 complex carbs = best for all day eating

    white rice raw = 78 g carbs
    Starchy stuff ^^ best post w/o other wise keep it brown.

    Rice vs oats... Just eat enough of both through the day with other foods to meet your macros.

    Nutritionally speaking, I'd say that rice would be better because you can eat more of it without getting full. That is- if your main goal is to intake more calories. The soluble fiber in oats will keep you fuller for longer.

    Rice digest quicker so you can eat another meal sooner to get more cals in. Also oats expand far more than rice does, so they fill you up more and you can't eat as much.
