Exclamation Which power rack should I get?

I found a power rack on amazon for $300 shipped with 2 inch hole spaing. and a 700 lb capacity. Should I order it or wait and buy the powertec rack from best buy fitness for 470 shipped?

Also Ive never owned a rack and I need one ASAP!

Its gonna be your personal preference man. Obviously the powertec is going to be a bit better but assuming your not squatting more than 700 then the one from amazon sounds like it would be perfectly fine. For me if I was trying to put together a damn good home gym, I would get a fully loaded one from elitefts but if I was just neeeding one for the moment I think it would have to be the one from amazon

Ive got a powertec rack, its held up very nicely. but a cheaper one with 700lb rating will still do the job, its not like you're going to be lifting 700lbs any time soon.

Get any squat rack that can handle the weight you're lifting.
Try to make sure you get a reliable one as well.

I know powertec is quality, idk about the amazon one but I'm sure you will never be able to perform any lift at 700lb in your life. People do it, sure, but that takes a helluva lot of training, years, and steroids. So what I'm trying to say is that is a perfectly good weight capacity. Personally I would get the cheapest option, assuming it's not really ****ty quality
