sorry, i put the wrong age in my profile. i usually sign up as age 23 on sites cause they usually dont allow under 18 people and **** so it was a force of habit. no biggie anyways, i told you my real age a couple posts before.
and you people that keep telling me to eat, did you read my question? here let me read it for you. it says:
Protein shakes that make you gain weight?
and people give me the answer: "eat".
chee thanks for that answer.
now to those who actually answered my question and actually wanna help and not waste other peoples lives, thank you guys.
Yes i TRY to eat about 3000-3500 cals a day. I really do try. I eat peanut butter, toast, pasta, chicken, meats, nuts etc. I know all about the foods, but I really wanna get some more help. Protein shakes can give me that extra help.
So right now im thinkin about Optimum Nutrition Serious Mass. It really seems like it would help with all its calories.
Plus I heard optimum nutrition is really good with protein shakes, so it seems good.
Any ideas on that? or any other protein shakes weight gainers people wanna share about?

12 oz milk
2 scoops protein
1 cup of oats
1 banana
2 tabls peanut butter
Drink two of those a day on top of what your eating and youll gain some weight. If you are still not gaining after a couple of weeks eat some PBJ sandwiches between meals, but I doubt you'll need to if you are in deed eating 3500 cals a day.Current Supps:

Allmax Creatine

Protein shakes won't give you any more extra help than any other additional calorie sources. At 135 lbs you would have to THOROUGHLY convince me you're not gaining weight at over 3000 calories. Either that or you're overestimating by a long shot.
Go to the nutrition forum, it's clear you have no business in supplements yet if you're unsure of your maintenance calories, macros, or proper dieting strategies.

I don't know why everyone kept telling you about eating when you're saying your eating a lot.
Anyway, what my buddies and I used a lot while we were deployed was Pro Complex Gainer by ON. This is really good high protein. Mostly for lean muscle so its higher and protein but still has 650 Calories and 60g of Protein. But if you want calories more than protein there is Serious Mass and I think you mentioned it earlier, but either one of these would be a good bet.
I put on 35 Lbs with this stuff. Also working out a lot. Hope this helps.

OP, getting more calories from protein is essentially the same as getting more calories from protein-rich foods. Foods being more micronutrient heavy, whereas the shakes are convenient/can be more cost effective (from a $/gram of protein perspective). Unfortunately, adding in protein shakes wouldn't make up the calorie difference you probably need.
Now, if you're getting into weight gainers...weight gainers aren't cost effective at all. You really should just add in more food at that point.
And 3500 calories may not always be a lot. It's clearly not for you. Increase calories to 4000. If you aren't gaining after 2 weeks, increase to 4500. Rinse/repeat. You will experience no more gains from a weight gainer as you would with food, because it's a simple matter of calories. Nothing magical about a weight gainer or protein shake that wouldn't be in regular food.“For, behold, I have refined thee, I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.”—1 Nephi 20:10

getting into semantics here..
off the top, understand that PROTEIN SHAKE means protein (despite some that call anything even fruit smoothies protein shakes). it does not mean lots of carbs + fats..then, that becomes an MRP shake (meal replacement).
going further - protein is the most thermogenic of the 3 macronutrients. meaning, it is harder to digest than fats and carbs, so therefore will take MORE CALORIC EXPENDITURE for the body to digest.
what this means to you is, protein = leanness, not gainness.
stop thinking protein is going to make you gain weight.
ooo Anna..the things i could do with that there post for giggles..
dude, you still have Oo on your face..
interesting recipe for fat gain there. and i don't know that i'd advise anyone to sit around and maul 2000cal meals on a regular basis, regardless of their goals (sumo wrestlers excluded).
Gilmore has you covered with your best answer, very complete.
