I'm having a horrible problem. For the past several months, I couldn't gain a Fu**ing pound. I kept upping my calories until i got to 5000. FINALLY, I started gaining a lb/week. Well, I went from 194 to 197 in about 3 weeks and thought I was doing good, only to wake up today and find myself at 195. So in three weeks I've gained ONE pound of muscle/fat, and the other 2 were water. And who knows!! Maybe the one pound I think I gained is also water. I'm not taking any creatine. I'm sick of this BS. How the hell do I differentiate between water weight and muscle/fat weight??? I'm feeling so discouraged right now, someone please help

To be completely honest, I have no idea lol. You sure your calories didn't change slightly? Perhaps you woke up dehydrated, but who knows, you could've had some water weight before you had gained the weight. You weighed yourself every week at same day? Maybe you were bloated last time you measured.
