Your body doesn't really know the difference between when you are fake smiling and when you are smiling for real, they both activate the same neural circuits. I don't mean some half-assed smile like when you hear a terrible joke, I mean a full face smile. Next time you're in a ****ty mood force yourself to smile for like 30 seconds, you'll instantly feel better (completely srs).
