@MiscD: Nice lift!
@Mitch: Jew gun hurt yo knees, mang. I know you acknowledge the bad form but your time is probably better spent doing more than one decent rep. (P.S. Not trying to be a hater or act like I'm some ErickStevens-type monster lifter.)“Go back?" he thought. "No good at all! Go sideways? Impossible! Go forward? Only thing to do! On we go!" So up he got, and trotted along with his little sword held in front of him and one hand feeling the wall, and his heart all of a patter and a pitter.”

Its not like a debilitating problem, but if I let myself slam the weight it comes back.
"cardio" 225 x 15. This was from the same session as the vids I posted above btw. going for 225 x 20 next time I do this, I think I could have hit it here but was pretty burned out.
Edit: this is on a buddies cannel FYI. check his other vids if u want. he's pretty damn strong.Last edited by MITCHAPAL00ZA; 10-18-2012 at 01:09 PM.

matt - id suggest having a slight bend in your knees, should allow you to really bring your hips back and get some hamstring stretch. also when i do them i squeeze and thrust up using just my glutes, with as much speed as possible (duh) just noted yours were a lil slow
i posted this vid in perps log, it gave me a good idea of GM mechanics -

Depends on what you prefer. If you don't bend your knees as much then your hamstrings get hit more and there's a lot less ROM. The more you bend your knees, the more lower back and glutes you'll recruit and less hamstrings. So if you do one or not depends on what you want to hit. Neither is wrong. I know Clint Darden thinks the bent-leg version is wrong.
“Go back?" he thought. "No good at all! Go sideways? Impossible! Go forward? Only thing to do! On we go!" So up he got, and trotted along with his little sword held in front of him and one hand feeling the wall, and his heart all of a patter and a pitter.”

Finally got my Rehbands. Hopefully I can now squat pain free.
Excluding one week last month, this will be the first time I've been able to squat or do any worthwhile leg exercises without discomfort. Wish me luck"Whoa, peanut-butter does look a lot like Cum." - Alan Aragon
