5.8K reps for simple home core/abs workout help.

Well, I workout 5 times a week at the gym but have never bothered working out abs. I told my training partners I was now cutting to get aesthetic and they said there is no way I can get a full six pac due to lack of ab exercises so I placed a £20 bet with them that I could, only now I have decided to cheat slightly and do some core work at home.

I am looking for a simple beginner home ab routine and to gain the reps I need to know: sets/reps/rest and how I can progress the workout. I have no real equipment to use so just need bodyweight stuff. Thanks very much.

You'll need weighted exercises for size, and you'll need to isolate both abs and obliques. I say weighted decline crunches and side crunches. No more then 12 reps per set. Add a couple of twists in there and you'll have your 20£ in no time brah

superset crunch, crunch, twisting crunch, oblique crunch, reverse crunch (legs to face, not face to legs), leg lifts, flailing leg lifts. i do 25 reps each. typically feel pretty worn out after one complete set, but will go another if i'm not feelin it yet
Ditch your meal plan and develop a diet that combines sound nutrition with the foods you enjoy by eating when you see fit in the portions that allow you to achieve your macronutrient and caloric needs while providing sufficient micronutrients, energy and satiety. One can never forget that nutrition is a tool, not a restraint; the enjoyment of life should always come first. Psychological, sociological and emotional health should never be threatened by the attempt to increase physiological health.

    I'm doing this atm:

3 sets weighted Crunch every single set till failure, max = 20 reps. if you do more than that try adding weight. (this will destroy your abs)
3 Sets decline crunch with twists on top (can also do weighted for better results in obliques)
3 sets leg raises till failure.

thats all u need tbh . abs aint hard to workout and you dont need to workout them out that hard since all u need is low bf for them to show. working them out will just make them stronger and thicker
Sig line can't be a novel

I don't know if you have this thing at home, but I'm sure you can find something similar.

So what I do is, 50 reps of abs in one row, 10 reps with feet on ground, next ten with feet on 1st step, next ten with feet on 2nd step and next with feet on 3rd step, then you start going down the same way. If you really want to feel the burn, then don't let your back touch the ground when you do them crunches, good as fuark I tell ya.
