    First Contest Prep

9 weeks out and it's time to do some serious training and serious eating. I've been relatively lacksadasial up until now but it's do or die at this point.

I finally got a workout partner who goes to my gym, works out at the crack of dawn like me and is willing to workout to my frequency and intensity. I'm super pumped about her! Brings fresh spirit to my lagging and self-doubting attitude.

As I was lamenting last week to a close friend, she wrote me an email this week about essentially doing what we need to do regardless of how we feel... She's training for a marathon and needed to do a 16 mile run on Saturday and was almost in tears thinking bout how much she wanted to stay in bed. I've been there. Along with "just this one bite of xyz won't hurt me." well she got up anyway and felt amazing after.

I don't have time for my own personal self-sabotaging mind games. It's time to put up and shut up--no more excuses!!

    Today:
CARDIO: 47 min fat burner lvl 7 stairmill

Keep it going. Looking good so far. I'm 2.5 weeks out from my next show myself. I experience the same thoughts as I wake up at 5am for morning cardio. I just keep reminding myself that this is what seperates the men from the boys. Good luck!
