The Merciful
Main Nutrition Forum Surveillance (BroWatch/Alert Thread)
There appears to be a massive migration of those with more than half a brain into the NMisc. Since I agree with the concern that the main forum could degenerate into one big bro-down with much less of the smart folks lurking or active in it, this thread is my off-the-cuff solution.
Here's the idea: if you happen to spot any threads in the main forum that are being dominated by stupidity, or if you see any blatantly bad advice being dished out, please link the threads (or posts) here.
This will give the more educated members the option to hop over there & chime in - when they otherwise would have been oblivious to the carnage as they lounged over here in Club NMisc.

Basically every thread in the keto section.. Not so much "bro" but a lot of threads not talking about maintenance calories & stuff like that...
... Then again, you don't have to count calories in Keto, right?

most ketards don't have genetic/medical issues and believe that their diet is magic which defies the laws of thermodynamics.

I've covered mine in other threads... and most of the regular posters on the keto forum do count their calories and repeatedly tell others "If you do not eat a caloric deficit you will not lose fat on a ketogenic diet". I assumed most people use them to avoid shanks (from low blood sugar), headaches, continual sweating if you don't eat more carbs every 2-3 hours, black spots in front of the eyes and other negative drawbacks some of us suffer when trying to cut on higher carbs. Plus we get to eat steak and chicken wings all day long.
For me it blunts my hunger, I keep 100% of my strength in the gym etc, and avoid suffering from hypoglycemia when I reduce my calories to a 500 cal deficit... that is pretty magical.
For those who benefit from these things a keto diet does seem pretty magical, but most people I know do not have these same results, and if they do not, doing keto would be rather pointless unless they just happened to enjoy it and feel better on it... and I've met a handful of people who cannot tolerate this type of diet at all, their lifts drop for weeks, they feel slow, lethargic etc... and clearly such people should avoid keto diets like the plague.
Anyway I don't see where you got the things you typed by reading the keto forum here... everyone there talks about the importance of calories in calories out on keto.
