Hey guys and girls,
Firstly, great site you have here!
I will keep this short as I can't talk about everything (under contract)
But basically I was wondering what is the fastest way to lose weight, even if you don't worry about muscle loss, just concentrate on weight loss.
Think like someone in a prison camp (holocost) So skinny and don't want a lot of muscle. Granted there will be make up etc so I won't get as bad as those poor people, but I just wanted to give you an idea.
I am working closely with a doctor as well, we have discussed this at length, but my friend who is a member on here, as well as my doctor said why not ask as someone on here as you might know of a faster way that doc doesn't know.
So to sum up.
Fastest possible way to lose weight, don't worry about muscle loss.
I am working with a docotor who I see twice a week if not more so I will be tested etc during the course of the rapid loss to prevent injury to myself, and the doc can pull the plug at any stage if he fears for my health.
I can't go in to detail about the role, but it is for a tv movie and it is not related to ww2 in anyway. We have already shot everything I can the way I am now so need to get weight off to film the next series of scenes.
Thanks for you help on this.
cheers

Don't be dumb enough not to care about muscle loss. If your true goal is to be thin and not look horrible; then you should really care about preserving as much muscle as possible.
If you are gone to do a low calorie crash diet.
Make it a PSMF. Talk to your doctor to put you on the best crash diet for preserving muscle and shedding fat at the same time; which is what you want.
Do 600-1200 calories of all protein, fish oil pills and a multivitamin. Some veggies with your protein(fish, chicken, lean ground beef). You can drop a good 3-4+ Pounds doing this a week depending on your weight and body fat.

I used to do a lot of coke and I was always fat. Not only is your joke not funny, it's not even good advice in the context of the question. I say your joke isn't funny in the sense that it doesn't induce laughter, not in the "how could you even joke about that?" kind of way. Basically, you just suck at the internet.
Lots of cardio, very low calories, very low protein, no resistance training. If you were going to use a drug to help this along, an amphetamine with its long half life would be the way to go. I don't know how a doctor could help you do this without betraying the hippocratic(sp?) oathDon't Drink, Don't Smoke, Watdo you do?

Yep, but it's not just muscle you need to worry about. Bones, ligaments, organs, etc would eventually be consumed as well.
You may have done small, short-lived fasts before, and seemed to have lost a lot of weight in a quick amount of time, but it's just glycogen. When you ingest excess carbohydrates, they're stored as glycogen. Your body stores 1 glycogen molecule with 2 water molecules, so the weight accumulates quickly. When you fast, glycogen burns off first, and you lose the additional water weight. Fat burns off more slowly.
