    Caffeine tolerance?

Hey brahs didn't where to ask this question so I figured I'd ask it here. If I drink one 7.5 oz coca cola per day would I eventually develop a tolerance to the caffeine? The reason I'm asking is because the caffeine in coca cola makes me pee which is great because I have this kidney disease where I don't pee enough and I'm trying to avoid prescription diuretics.

Yeah - even with coke you can build up tolerance to it. Same thing happened to me when I started drinking soda. HOWEVER - once you lower your soda consumption, you quickly lose that tolerance. Or at least I do - since I don't drink ANY caffeinated drinks anymore, I am quite sensitive to caffeine. Half a caffeine pill (100mg), which is about a cup of coffee, makes me pee like hell, poop, and pumps me up lol

I'm aware I would no longer get the energy boost if I develop a tolerance to caffeine but do you think it would still make me pee?

I think the pee thing eventually wears off as well. BUT, as usual, you should try and see if it does for you. If it is the effect you seek - I wouldn't worry now about. If at some point you stop being able to pee from it - just "get off" caffeinated drinks for a bit and try again. For example, I take only 100mg of caffeine now in mornings and then before workout. It used to make me poop ALL the time pretty much within 10 minutes of taking it. However, now I started pooping much rarely after taking the caffeine and I don't poop the second time I take. From time to time I take a couple weeks OFF caffeine to let my body go back to normal and then once I start again - its poop time all over haahahahh. Sorry that this is gross. I actually use this to my advantage on weigh in days when I WANT to weigh less and get everything "out".
